Our fully qualified, NAPIT-accredited electricians keep your home safe and efficient — from new installations to fault-finding and inspections across Surrey, Hampshire and Sussex.

From installing new outlets and lighting fixtures to repairing faulty wiring and conducting electrical inspections, we have the expertise to handle every domestic electrical need safely and to the latest standards. Our electricians work from our Midhurst base across West Sussex, including Chichester and the surrounding villages, as well as Surrey and Hampshire.

As a NAPIT-accredited contractor, we certify our work and provide the documentation you need for peace of mind, whether it is a single circuit, a full rewire or a smart-home upgrade.

What certification do you get for electrical work?

Most domestic electrical work is notifiable under Part P of the Building Regulations. As a NAPIT-accredited contractor, we self-certify our work and register it with building control, issuing you the Electrical Installation Certificate you will need when you come to sell or remortgage. Every installation meets BS 7671 — the 18th Edition Wiring Regulations — so it is safe, compliant and properly documented. For landlords we handle the five-yearly EICR cycle across single properties and portfolios alike, and for home sellers we can often locate or reissue missing certificates — saving a sale from stalling over paperwork.

How do we keep electrical work safe?

Whether it is a single socket or a full rewire, we test before and after, isolate safely and leave the job clean. We talk you through what we are doing and why, and we never cut corners on the parts you cannot see — the cable runs, the earthing and the consumer unit are where safety really lives.

What are the signs your wiring needs attention?

Frequent tripping, flickering lights, scorch marks or a warm fuse board, rewireable fuses rather than circuit breakers, or wiring more than 25–30 years old are all signs it is time for an inspection. An EICR (Electrical Installation Condition Report) gives you a clear picture of what is safe and what needs attention before it becomes a hazard.

FAQ

Electrical Services — frequently asked questions

Do I legally need a certificate for electrical work?

Most fixed electrical work in the home is notifiable under Part P of the Building Regulations. As NAPIT-accredited electricians we self-certify and notify building control, then issue you an Electrical Installation Certificate — the documentation you will need when selling or remortgaging.

How often should I have an EICR?

We recommend homeowners have an Electrical Installation Condition Report at least every 10 years. For rented property in England an EICR is a legal requirement every 5 years, or at change of tenancy.

How do I know if I need a rewire?

Common signs include frequent fuse-board trips, flickering or dimming lights, scorch marks around sockets, an old rewireable fuse box, or wiring over 25–30 years old. An EICR will confirm whether a full or partial rewire is needed.

Are your electricians qualified and insured?

Yes. Our electricians are fully qualified, NAPIT accredited, work to the 18th Edition Wiring Regulations (BS 7671) and are fully insured.
